Greetings from ISSP Karnataka Chapter!

We are delighted to share that the ISSP Karnataka Postgraduate Orientation Programme, conducted on 5th July in association with Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Bengaluru, was successfully held with enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students and faculty members from across Karnataka and various parts of India.

The overwhelming response to the programme was truly encouraging. We received 107 registrations, and owing to the seating capacity of the venue, we had to restrict further registrations.

The programme featured insightful academic sessions by eminent speakers, providing valuable updates and practical perspectives in pain medicine. The interactive discussions and active participation made the event a truly enriching learning experience for all attendees.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. N. S. Chandrashekhar, Head, Trustwel Hospital, Bengaluru; Dr. Vinod N. K., Head, Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine; Dr. Pratibha Matche, Head, Department of Pain and Palliative Care, JSS Medical College, Mysuru; and Dr. Muralidhar Thondebavi, President, ISSP Karnataka. Their inspiring addresses emphasized the importance of continued learning, research, and excellence in pain management.

A special highlight of the programme was the official release of the ISSP Karnataka Postgraduate e-book, which has been shared with all postgraduate participants as a valuable academic resource.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our distinguished dignitaries, faculty members, speakers, delegates, and postgraduate students for their enthusiastic participation and for making the programme a grand success.

We look forward to many more such academic initiatives under the banner of ISSP, fostering learning, collaboration, and excellence in pain medicine.
