*Prevent Fungus*

1. Maintain cleanliness & hygiene- self body, house, office and surroundings.

2. Wash the clothes, masks, bedsheets (daily/periodically) and dry in sunlight or iron them before reusing.
Avoid using damp clothes, masks.

3. Do not hang *wet clothes* inside the house- especially in bedroom/ living room during day or night. Use balcony/terrace/ open space.

5. Special care to be taken to wash sports wear & equipments which contain more sweat.

6. Keep kitchen area and utility area clean and dry. Remove wastes frequently. Do not store unwanted wooden, paper, cloth which attract fungus growth. Wooden furnitures absorb dampness & attract fungus. Clean them periodically. If water seepage in the roof/ wall near wooden furnitures and closed lofts are dangerous- dry those area by opening to air & light periodically.

7. Fumigation (dhoopanam) with *Aparajitha dhoopa* churnam- Suggested by Ayurveda proved fungal control.

Mucor also a fungus which may cause fatal result in human body.

Preventive:
Apart from standard protocols of mask, sanitisation, hand wash with soap & social distancing the following Ayurveda medicines to be taken for twenty days. (Further, if risk of exposure, the same medicines can be continued for another month twice daily)
1) *Indukantham kwath tablet* 1-1-1 (before food)
2) *Amruthotharam kwath tablet* 1-1-1 (before food)
3) if any symptoms fever, cold et. add
*Sudarshana tablet* 1-1-1 (after food)
4) if any symptoms loose motion/ stomach upset, add
*Vilwadi Gulika* tablet 1-1-1 (after food)

Home made kashayam of dry ginger+ black pepper+ thulasi etc., Hot water to drink, steam inhalation...

General:
1) *Indukantham kwath tablet* 1-0-1 (before food) for 20 days.
2) *Vidaaryadi Kashayam* (liquid) 15ml + 60 ml warm water daily once before lunch- for one month.

If any cough/ any other symptoms persists, please consult your ayurveda doctor for additional advise)

( *Was under oxygen therapy/ ventilator* ):

1) *Indukantham kwath tablet* 1-1-1 ( before food) for one month
2) *Elakanadi Kashayam* (liquid) 15ml + 60 ml boiled and cooled water + honey one teaspoon + one *Gopeechandanadi pill* OR one *Sudarshana tablet* - together after dinner.
