A big thank you to for this opportunity to facilitate a workshop on ~ The art of coaching GenZ šŸø

Coaching athletes in today’s world comes with a different challenge - learning how to work with technology, rather than without itšŸ“±

A great session with badminton coaches on exploring practical ways to build accountability, communication, and stronger athlete-coach relationships in the age of technology.

Some key conversations from the workshop with :
• Using technology as a helping hand instead of a restriction
• Encouraging athletes to take ownership and explore skills beyond the session
• Using social media intentionally to reinforce learning and coaching messages
• Reflecting on the values and behaviours coaches want to model and develop
• Building better communication and stronger connections with athletes

Coaching today is not just about instruction- it’s about understanding the environment athletes are growing up in and adapting with it šŸ’Ŗ

The same breath that makes you stronger
can also make you choke.

The Valsalva Maneuver builds power and stability.
But use it at the wrong time—and your body shifts into stress.

Tight. Rushed. Reactive.

Performance isn’t just skill.
It’s timing your physiology.

Use your breath intentionally.

In collaboration with the RCB Cares initiative, Behavioural Foresight partnered with GoSports and the Ashwini Sports Foundation in Coorg to support athlete development through a performance psychology lens.

The intent was to help athletes move beyond theory, building a clearer understanding of how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence performance, especially under pressure.

We carried this out through structured assessments, delivering individual data reports alongside group-level insights and debriefs to create shared learning. This was followed by an applied regulation and performance workshop, where athletes were placed in simulated pressure environments using technology, allowing them to actively implement the techniques they had learned.

By creating spaces to both understand and apply, the focus remains on turning awareness into consistent, real-time performance.

’s run to the All England final highlights how central the mind is in navigating pressure, expectations, setbacks, and performance demands.

This article from The Indian Express talks about ā€˜s approaches used in preparation : from combining cognitive overload training with physiology regulation, to reframing past experiences 🧠 šŸø

The focus wasn’t just on technique, but on perception, resilience, and the ability to stay present under pressure šŸ¤

What stands out is a simple but powerful idea: elite performance often comes from the ability to handle discomfort, stay present, and to keep moving forward.
A reminder that the mind is not separate from the game, but a part of the training environment.

Sleep Awareness Week Series — Part 2: Emotional Regulation. Even one night of poor sleep can heighten amygdala reactivity and reduce prefrontal control, which is why emotional stability begins the night before.

Sleep Awareness Week Series — Part 1: Brain Repair Mode šŸ§ šŸ’¤

While you sleep, your brain switches into an active repair state, clearing metabolic waste, strengthening memory circuits, and restoring neural balance — because sleep isn’t rest, it’s reconstruction.
