This graph tracks our births, year on year, since we opened our doors.

Year 5 marked a significant milestone for us, shifting to a new location and it’s been as rewarding as it has been challenging.

Five years of both growth and learnings and we're ready for everything that’s coming up ahead.

She’s been part of Aastrika for years. Then, she became an Aastrika Mom too.

Every day, she cares for mothers here. When it was her turn to give birth, she chose Aastrika for herself.

For us, that made her story a little different. She knew the care from both sides.

As Aastrika completes its fifth year, Dr. Janhavi Nilekani reflects on what she never wants to change.

For us, that means respecting every mother's right to understand her care and make her own decisions. It means empathy built into every interaction, time given generously during birth, and the same high standard of clinical care and round-the-clock emergency support for every mother — regardless of the package she chooses.

These aren't new promises. They're the principles Aastrika was built on, and the ones we'll keep standing by as we grow.

Because some things should never change.

Midwives are the heart of our care.

For five years, they’ve stood beside women through labour, uncertainty, difficult moments and the first moments with their babies.

With every birth, they’ve listened, learnt and carried that experience into the next one.

The care we have today has grown from all those years of being there for mothers and the midwives who made that care possible.

As we celebrate five years of Aastrika, we’re looking back at the people who have cared for our mothers, shaped our thinking and helped shape what comes next.

These five families gave birth here between 2021 and 2026. Now, they’re walking through the new Aastrika and seeing how much has evolved since their own time here.

The space is new, but each family still knows what these corridors once meant to them.

Five years later, seeing Aastrika through their eyes makes this milestone feel even more special.
