What is a Systematic Review?
The crown of the evidence-based pyramid, a systematic review, represents the best scientific evidence available.
1. It has a set protocol for collecting and reviewing medical literature (or different subjects).
2. The methods are direct, easily reproducible, and leave no room for confusion.
3. It uses techniques to reduce biases and arbitrary mistakes when comparing different studies.
These 3 things make Systematic Reviews-or Overviews the most reliable foundation for further courses of action.
