If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. The origin of myths is explained in this way.

Groin injury accounts for about 5-10% of all sports injuries.

Risk factors of groin injury in sports are previous groin injury, higher level of play, reduced hip adductor strength, poor adductor flexibility and lower levels of sport-specific training.

Groin injury prevention program -1, focuses on hip disassociation exercises, abdominal activation, adductor stretches, strengthening of muscles around hip and groin.

Rotational sport – Dominant sports specific movement is rotation.

Rotational sport involves production of fast rotational movements in transverse plane. A good mobility of the Shoulder, thoracic spine, hip and good stability of the Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip complex is very important to execute fast rotational movement in transverse plane.

Rotatory stability is important to produce efficient movements and to reduce the risk of injury. Exercises like cable squat rotations, cable lunge rotations demand work from muscles like External obliques, Internal obliques, Re**us abdominis and Transverse abdominis which are the key muscles in the kinetic chain to transfer energy from lower body to upper body and vice versa.
