DHEE Hospitals was proud to host an electrifying, extravagant, and unforgettable Sim Wars Prelims!

🏆 Highest-ever registrations
👥 Planned: 16 teams | 64 participants
🚀 Final count: 17 teams | 68 participants from across India
🎯 Every team tackled 2 challenging simulation scenarios

And the energy? Absolutely unmatched.

From cinematic team videos to high-intensity performances, clinical thinking, teamwork, and creativity came alive like never before.

We were privileged to have an exceptional panel of judges: Dr Aron Calhoun, Kentucky, USA – President of the International Pediatric Simulation Society; Dr Mike Shepherd, Starship Hospital; Dr Kang, New Zealand; Dr Ram Nair, Sridevi Medical College; and Dr Mohan Kamaraju, DHEE Hospitals.

But what truly made the event special was the overwhelming feedback, infectious enthusiasm, and incredible spirit of every participant.

One participant summed it up perfectly:

“There is now a Pre-SimWars era and a Post-SimWars era!”

That says it all.

👏 Kudos to Dr Supraja Chandrasekar, who led the workshop along with Dr Manvanthar, Dr Malvika and the entire DHEE Pediatric Team.

A special note of gratitude to Dr Pritesh Nagar, Hyderabad, and Dr Manju Kedarnath, Bengaluru, for being outstanding co-organisers and bringing this massive event to life.

At DHEE, we are immensely proud to collaborate with PediSTARS — India’s leading pediatric simulation society — and host the qualifying round of SIMWARS 2026.

And the journey only got bigger from here, culminating in the grand SIMWARS Finals at VASA — another extravagant celebration of competition, collaboration and learning through simulation.

Empowering communities with life-saving skills!

DHEE Hospitals was glad to conduct a Basic Emergency Life Support (BELS) Training workshop at Udupa Child Development Centre, JP Nagar.

Led by our pediatric experts, Dr. Manvanthar M and Dr. Prerana, the hands-on session covered essential emergency response skills, including:

* Infant & Adult CPR techniques using practice mannequins
* Choking management and airway clearance
* Emergency AED application and critical response steps

ಆಯುಷ್ ಟಿವಿ (Ayush TV) ಸಂದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ DHEE Hospitals‌ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಜ್ಞರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸುಪ್ರಜಾ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ರಕ್ತಸ್ರಾವ (Nose Bleeding / Epistaxis) ಉಂಟಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣಗಳು, ರಕ್ತ ಬಂದಾಗ ಪೋಷಕರು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಸರಿಯಾದ First Aid ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾವ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ರಕ್ತ ಬರುವುದು (Nose Bleeding / Epistaxis) ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಆತಂಕ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಟವಾಡುವಾಗ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಗಾಯವಾಗುವುದು, ಮೂಗನ್ನು ಪದೇಪದೇ ಮುಟ್ಟುವುದು ಅಥವಾ ಒಣ ವಾತಾವರಣದಿಂದ ಮೂಗಿನ ಒಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತಸ್ರಾವವಾಗಬಹುದು.
