“Lose weight.”
When that becomes the main message after a PMOS diagnosis, it can leave you wondering whether you caused this and whether being stricter with yourself is the answer.
There needs to be room for more: understanding your treatment options, talking about food guilt and body image, and finding everyday habits that fit your needs and circumstances.
I was diagnosed with PCOS, now called PMOS, at 17. Today, as a Health Psychologist and Nutrition Coach, I bring my lived experience and professional training to supporting women navigating this condition.
Your questions deserve time. Your preferences deserve a place in the plan. And you deserve care without blame.
If you’re looking for support with nutrition, emotional eating, and life with PMOS, DM “PMOS” to learn about working with me.
