Here’s my lunch menu to help you with menu planning for the week 🍽️ - healthy, balanced, high fibre, high protein / protein rich, nutritious meal plates.

In a balanced diet it’s best to get protein from both plant based protein and animal based sources. Plant based sources especially pulses are high in fibre (prebiotics) and play an important role in gut health and when paired with grains they form a complete protein source.
Animal based protein are highly  bioavailable and complete but do not have fibre. Hence it’s a must to include both sources.

These are home cooked meals based on Indian cuisine. Indian food is healthy and balanced. It depends on how you balance the meals, your portion size and cooking methods.

PS: Please increase quantity as per your needs and never eat less, starve or follow a very low calorie diet.
Eat right and eat enough. ⁣Health first.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Kerala fish fry, but make it smarter with Cumin Co. | Cookware with a Conscience 🐟✨

As a nutritionist, I believe comfort food doesn’t need to be off the table. This Kerala-style fish fry is made on the Cumin Co. Griddle, using up to 40% less oil than a regular flat pan. 🔥
Rich in protein and omega-3s, pair it with rice + veggies for a balanced, satisfying meal. ❤️

Sometimes, eating well is simply about cooking smarter.

📢 DINNER MEAL PLATE SERIES 🍽️
I always share my lunch plates, and so many of you have been asking to see my dinners too—so here they are!

I rarely use my phone at dinner time because I’m usually absolutely famished and can’t wait to eat. 😄 I don’t spend time making my plate look picture-perfect either. Most days, I simply repeat the veggies from lunch.
The quantity of foods vary depending on what I had for my snack. If my snack was carb-heavy, my dinner is usually protein-focused.If I skipped my snack, my dinner tends to be earlier and little heavy.
While all are homemade meals , portion controlled and nutritious , I don’t follow the exact same portions or balanced meals  every day.

I believe in eating according to my hunger, activity levels, and what my body needs that day. 💚

There isn’t one “perfect” plate—consistency over time matters far more than perfection at every meal 💪🏼⁣⁣⁣⁣
