🦴 Military Neck vs. Normal Neck — Know the Difference

Your neck has a natural curve that helps support your head and maintain proper alignment. When this curve becomes straightened or reversed, it may increase strain on the neck muscles and joints.

📱 Poor posture, prolonged screen time, and forward-head posture can contribute to neck discomfort and stiffness.

Don’t ignore persistent neck pain or reduced mobility. Early assessment and the right physiotherapy approach can help improve movement and posture. 💙

If you regularly experience muscle cramps, tightness, poor sleep, and persistent back pain — low magnesium could be a contributing factor that nobody's mentioned. 🥜

Magnesium is essential for muscle relaxation, nerve function, and calcium absorption into bones. When it's low, muscles around your spine stay tense, cramps become frequent, sleep quality drops — all of which slow down recovery from back and joint pain.

Good Indian sources: peanuts, cashews, bananas, spinach, and whole grains like jowar and bajra. Simple daily additions that support your spine from the inside.

Strong bones don't require expensive supplements. Your kitchen already has some of the best spine-friendly foods. 🍛

Ragi (finger millet) has the highest calcium content of any grain available in India — far more than wheat or rice. A bowl of ragi porridge or a ragi roti daily is one of the best things you can do for vertebral strength.

Curd and paneer together give you calcium and protein — the combination that builds bone density and helps repair the muscles supporting your spine.

Sesame seeds (til) are small but powerful — just 1 tablespoon gives you 88mg of calcium. Sprinkle on dal, salads, or chutney daily.

Food supports recovery. Physio fixes the damage. Both together work best.

Up to 80% of Indians are Vitamin D deficient — and most don't know it. ☀️

Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption and bone density. When it's chronically low, your vertebrae weaken, the muscles around your spine lose strength, and you become more prone to disc degeneration and persistent back pain that doesn't respond well to treatment.

Simple fixes: 15–20 minutes of morning sunlight daily, Vitamin D-rich foods like eggs, fatty fish, and fortified milk — and a basic blood test to check your levels.

If your back pain isn't improving despite treatment, low Vitamin D could be a hidden factor. Get it checked.

Your diet plays a bigger role in spine and joint health than most people realise. 🐟

Chronic inflammation is one of the biggest drivers of back pain, disc problems, and slow recovery — and certain foods directly reduce it.

Fatty fish like salmon and mackerel are rich in Omega-3, which reduces nerve and joint inflammation. Turmeric (haldi) is one of nature's most powerful anti-inflammatories — add it to your food daily. Leafy greens like spinach and methi are high in magnesium, which supports muscle recovery and reduces cramps. Berries are packed with antioxidants that protect spinal disc tissue from oxidative damage.
