One moment at Punarbhava said more than any medical presentation.

Our Founder & Director, Nalwad, spoke as a Chief Guest at Punarbhava, focused on ovarian cancer awareness, women’s health, and critical care.

The most powerful moment was honouring the survivors, a reminder that behind every treatment is a life fighting with hope.

Appreciation to Roopesh N, Mahesh Koregol, President BSOG, , and everyone working towards stronger cancer awareness and patient care.

One week. Eight critical missions. One purpose. Saving lives.

Over the past few days, our teams coordinated air ambulance transfers across multiple cities including Abu Dhabi, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Srinagar, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Surat, Bagdogra, and Varanasi.

Our youngest patient was only 23 days old.
Our oldest was 86.

Every flight carried more than a patient. It carried urgency, emotion, hope, and the trust of families waiting for their loved ones to reach safely.

People often see an aircraft taking off.
But behind every mission are hours of preparation.

Medical reports. Flight clearances. ICU equipment checks. Route coordination. Communication between hospitals, airports, doctors, pilots, and emergency teams.

Inside the cabin, every second matters.

Some patients spoke to our medical crew throughout the journey. Some needed continuous monitoring and critical support. Every mission demanded calm minds, teamwork, and complete focus.

What stays with us the most is the moment families finally see their loved one safely arrive for continued treatment and care.

That relief makes every effort meaningful.

Grateful to every doctor, paramedic, pilot, coordinator, airport operations team, healthcare worker, and support staff member who made these transfers possible.

Critical care transport is not only about moving patients.
It is about carrying hope when families need it the most.

When critical care takes flight ✈️
Preparation becomes everything.
Dr. Aniket, one of our flying doctors at ICATT Air Ambulance Services, shares his perspective on FAM (Fellowship in Aeromedical Sciences) training—conducted in collaboration with Certificated KSS HEMS UK and accredited by JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research.
Because an aircraft ICU is not a hospital.
It’s dynamic. Compact. High-stakes.
At ICATT, we don’t just deploy doctors.
We train them to deliver ICU-level care in the sky—safely, efficiently, and without compromise.
Preparation isn’t a step… it’s the mission.

The patient was holding on.
And the family was holding hope.

We got a call from Jaipur for a transfer to Bangalore. It sounded like a routine shift at first, but when we understood the condition, we knew this would need more than just movement.

He had been living with COPD for a long time. This time, his breathing had become harder to sustain. With acute exacerbation, pericardial effusion, and Type 2 respiratory failure, his body was already under pressure. The tracheostomy was supporting him, but it also meant there was no room for carelessness.

The family did not ask too many questions. They just wanted him to reach safely. Sometimes, that quiet trust says more than anything else.

From the moment we took over, the focus was simple, keep him steady. Not just for takeoff or landing, but for every minute in between. Because in the air, even a small change can become important very quickly.

Inside the aircraft, it’s never about speed. It’s about staying consistent. Watching closely. Acting early. Making sure nothing slips.

The journey was smooth, and he reached Bangalore stable for further care.

That moment, when the family sees their loved one safe again, even if the fight is not over, it brings a kind of relief that is hard to describe.

This is what these missions are really about. Not just transfers, but responsibility, trust, and doing everything possible to keep that hope going.

Between Ahmedabad and Varanasi, a life needed careful holding.

An elderly patient in Ahmedabad was already fighting advanced liver disease and cholangiocarcinoma. His body had been through months of pain, but what came next made things harder. Sepsis set in, his kidneys began to fail, and his lungs could no longer support him. He was on a ventilator, and his blood pressure needed constant support just to hold on.

This was not just critical. This was a very fragile moment in someone’s life.

In situations like this, even staying feels uncertain. But moving feels even more frightening. Still, his care needed to continue in Varanasi. Waiting was not an option anymore.

From the moment the transfer was planned, there was only one focus. Keep him stable. Keep him safe. Every breath had to be supported. Every medication had to be exact. Every second needed attention.

Inside the aircraft, there is no pause. Only responsibility. Only decisions that have to be right.

Our team stayed with him through every moment, watching closely and responding quickly, making sure nothing slipped. Because this is not just about moving a patient. It is about holding someone’s life between uncertainty and hope.

There are moments in such journeys where you feel the weight deeply. Because it is not just a case. It is someone’s father. Someone’s family waiting for him.

He reached Varanasi safely. Still critical, but stable enough to continue treatment. And sometimes, that one safe journey means everything for the people waiting.

Behind every such transfer, there is trust, silent teamwork, and a promise to do everything possible.

If you believe critical care should reach patients wherever they are, share this story and help raise awareness.

Between Dubai and Singapore, one life depended on every decision.

A elderly patient, diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma that had already spread to multiple organs.
By the time the request reached us, he was on tracheostomy care with a high oxygen requirement. It was one of those situations where even the smallest instability could change everything.

He was in Dubai, and the plan was to move him safely to Singapore.

The journey was long, but what mattered more was keeping him stable throughout.

For us at ICATT, this was not just a transfer. This was critical care in motion. Every detail was prepared carefully, from the air ambulance setup to continuous monitoring, because in cases like this, preparation is everything.

During the flight, the focus never shifted. His vitals were closely monitored, oxygen levels maintained with precision, and the team stayed alert throughout. There is a certain silence in such missions, where responsibility speaks louder than words.

When we landed in Singapore and handed him over in a stable condition, it was not about celebration. It was about relief. The quiet kind, when everything goes as it should.

This is what air ambulance care means to us. Being steady when things are fragile, and showing up when it matters the most.

What does responsibility mean to you in moments like this?

66 years old. Critical condition. Two countries. One mission.

A call came in for a 66 year old patient in Dubai who had suffered a spontaneous intracranial haemorrhage and had already undergone a craniectomy. His condition was fragile, and the next phase of treatment had to continue in Milan.

This was not just a transfer. It was a situation where every decision mattered.

A long distance commercial stretcher mission like this comes with real pressure. The patient was critical, and even a small instability during the journey could have serious consequences. There is no pause when you are in the air, only constant attention and readiness.

Our focus was clear from the beginning, keep him stable and ensure a smooth continuation of care from one hospital to another. From detailed pre flight planning to continuous inflight monitoring, every step was handled with care and responsibility. The medical team remained alert throughout, tracking vitals and responding instantly whenever needed. Coordination across teams in Dubai and Milan played a key role in making this mission seamless.

When he safely reached Milan, it was a moment of quiet relief. Not something loud or celebratory, but a deep sense of responsibility fulfilled.

Because in situations like these, it is not just about reaching the destination. It is about how safely and carefully the journey is handled.
