The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, DSCDS invites and welcomes all to the CDE Program on Oral Oncology and its Recent Advances at the CD Sagar Auditorium at Dayananda Sagar Institutions Campus on 11 February 2026 from 09.30am onwards.

Keynote lecture by Chief Guest Dr. M Vijayakumar, Hon. Pro Chancellor and Former Vice Chancellor of the Yenepoya (Deemed-to-Be) University followed by eminent speakers including Dr. Nadimul Hoda Head of Oral Oncology from Kidwai Institute of Oncology, Dr. Vijay Pillai, Senior Consultant Head and Neck Onco Surgeon, Dr. Vijetha J, Consultant Radiologist, Dr. Swaratika Majumdar, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Dr. Allien, Consultant Nutritionist at Narayana Health City, Bangalore.

A day long program that is sure to enrich the minds of young surgeons and give insights into the multidisciplinary approach to the management of Oral Cancers.

The Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, DSCDS conducted the Annual RGUHS Clinical Examination(Odd Batch)today. Happy to have with us Prof.Dr.Nagaraj M, Dean, ESIC Dental College Gulbarga, as the External Examiner for the same.

The Department conducted the Annual Clinical Preparatory/ Mock Examination for Exam going Final Year Post Graduates on 10th June 2021 via the ONLINE mode. We invited Dr.Deepak S from DAPM RV Dental College Bangalore as the External Examiner while Dr.Vinod Rangan was the Internal Examiner, in the presence of Prof.Dr.Shobha ES, HOD and Dr.Prashanth NT.

Dr.Deepak S conducted the assessment in a very professional manner and also added his inputs and suggestions to the Students(Dr.Shaurya Verma and Dr.Vishakha Agarwal) as they appear for their RGUHS MDS Examinations scheduled to be held in July 2021.
