How to Prevent Breakouts After Waxing

Do exfoliate the skin right before waxing. This will remove any dead skin cells, dirt and oil which may otherwise be forced into your pores with the application of wax.
Do take a warm shower before waxing. This will help to open the pore for easy hair removal.
Do apply Aloe Vera Gel to soothe the area that has been waxed.

Do not take extremely hot showers or sauna after waxing.
Do not apply ice to the area before waxing, this will only tighten your pores and make the process more painful.
Do not exfoliate the skin 24 hours after waxing.
Do not touch the area with your fingers. While you may be eager to feel the results by running your fingers over the area, you may be transferring bacteria to the sensitive area, which will serve to cause even more breaking out.
