Directed by Mohit Takalkar, the production follows three generations of women grappling with mental illness, whose lives play out simultaneously - sometimes in parallel, sometimes as collisions.

For an audience working across neuroscience, psychiatry and mental health, the performance opened up a different way of engaging with questions that sit close to both research and practice: what gets carried across generations, how lives shape one another, and how suffering resists simple explanations.

The Centre for Brain and Mind, NIMHANS is proud to support the staging of this production, in association with

(Anatomy of a Su***de runs publicly at Ranga Shankara, Bengaluru on 6 June, tickets available)
