Most people think they need to exercise more to lose weight.
Ayurveda takes a different view.
Your body thrives on consistency, not extremes.
Before focusing on exercise, ensure that the foundations are in place: ✔️ Nutritious food ✔️ Adequate sleep ✔️ Regular movement
A body that is well nourished and well rested responds better to exercise than a body that is running on empty.
If you're sacrificing sleep to fit in longer workouts, it may be time to rethink your priorities.
Sometimes, 30 minutes of exercise and an extra hour of sleep can do more for your health than a 90-minute workout.
Remember:
Food. Sleep. Exercise.
In that order.
Because consistency beats intensity. Every time.
What do you struggle with more—finding time to exercise or getting enough sleep? Let me know in the comments.

Modern fitness often celebrates exhaustion.
Ayurveda celebrates balance. 🌿

Ayurveda advises exercising only up to HALF your capacity (Ardha Shakti).
If you can comfortably walk 5 km, stop at around 2.5 km.

The goal of exercise is to build strength and energy — not drain your deeper tissues and Ojas.

Signs of the right workout:
✔ Mild sweating
✔ Slight shortness of breath
✔ Feeling light and energized

Not:
✘ Panting
✘ Extreme fatigue
✘ Dripping sweat

And don’t forget one timeless Ayurvedic tip:
🚶 Walk 100 steps after dinner for better digestion and metabolism.

Balance heals. Excess depletes. ✨

Kapha prakriti people - Your comfort zone is also your disease zone.
You were built for stability, calmness, endurance, and nourishment. But when Kapha accumulates, the body begins to slow down — weight gain, sluggishness, brain fog, low motivation, and slow digestion start creeping in.
This is where intermittent fasting can work beautifully for many Kaphas. ✨
Kapha usually has a slower Agni (digestive fire), and giving the digestive system longer breaks can help rekindle metabolism, reduce heaviness, improve energy, and create lightness in both body and mind.
For Kapha, healing often begins with movement, discipline, stimulation… and learning to let go of excess. 🔥

Dear Pitta Prakriti people… 🔥
Your body is not meant to run in survival mode all the time.
Strong digestion, sharp intelligence, ambition, perfectionism — these are gifts of Pitta. But too much heat, hustle, and fasting can push the body into imbalance.
Sometimes healing looks like slowing down.
Cooling foods. Better sleep. Vacations. Nourishment. Rest. 🌿
Intermittent fasting is not one-size-fits-all. Ayurveda teaches us to honour individuality before following trends. PittaDosha

Doing everything “right” but still feeling weak, bloated or anxious on intermittent fasting?
It’s not lack of discipline—it’s your Vata speaking.
A body that is already light, irregular and sensitive doesn’t thrive on gaps and restriction. It thrives on rhythm, warmth and nourishment.
Listen to your body type before you follow a trend.
Because what works for one dosha can disturb another.
