At Agape Women Recovery Home, Namrata Yata Edwards spends time interacting with the women, checking in on their well-being and reinforcing our holistic approach to recovery.
Mental health and addiction are deeply connected. For many women, addiction begins as a way to cope with pain, trauma, loss, or unresolved emotional struggles. At Agape, we believe lasting recovery comes not from treating the symptoms alone, but by addressing the root causes.
Through counselling, therapy, and a nurturing community, women are given the space to unlearn unhealthy coping mechanisms, reconnect with themselves, and relearn healthier ways of living. Because true healing happens when we heal the person, not just the addiction.
