Claiming your space requires discovering your potential, finding your authentic voice, and honing it. As you traverse a world of constant bombardment of ideas of who you should be, finding your own uniqueness, connecting to it, and bringing it to the fore requires depth work. It is then that you truly claim your space in the world.

Most of us were taught to make art within rigid rules - to stay neat, stay safe, stay within the lines. But what if those rules were never yours to begin with? Decolonizing Creativity is an invitation to unlearn, unmask, and express from a place of radical authenticity.

Our nervous systems remember what we try to forget. The fight, flight, freeze or fawn responses are ways our bodies protect us from harm. In the FECAT course, we learn to notice these patterns with kindness and use expressive arts to gently release, process and restore balance so that safety and connection can take root again.

Sometimes what we can’t say out loud weighs the heaviest on our hearts.

Expressive arts invite us to give voice to what sits in silence — the unsaid, the unheard, the forgotten. Through colours, sounds, and movement, we learn to speak without words and find freedom in expression.

The FOUNDATION COURSE IN EXPRESSIVE & CREATIVE ARTS THERAPIES (FECAT), a year-long training program from February to December 2027, teaches you how to gently guide silences into safe expression. FECAT empowers you to hold space for unspoken truths to find their voice, opening paths for deep listening, healing, and growth.

Language of love is universal, but it begins with you. It begins with discovering your true self, looking at the deepest wounds and working through them, discovering and connecting with your desires and finding joy in your body.

When you do the inner work, you learn the language of love, and it is then that you can communicate with that language with others.

Neurodiversity and Mad Studies explore the intersections of neurological differences and mental health experiences, recognising that these are not always mutually exclusive. Mad studies and the neurodiversity movement both offer critical perspectives on mental health and disability. They advocate for a shift away from biomedical models and toward a more inclusive, social justice-oriented approach.

The course is led by Aarathi Selvan (they/them), a licensed clinical psychologist and educator with nearly 20 years of experience. You can learn more and register through the link in our bio.
