Neelam Verma is a Clinical Psychologist with Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is recognized with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and hold lifetime professional membership of Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists (IACP). She achieved her major educational milestones at Mahila PG College, Lucknow University, Banaras Hindu University, and Institute of Huma
n Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi University. During her professional career she has been actively dealing with individuals having psychological issues and psychiatric disorders. She conducted lectures, workshops and talk sessions for PG students of Psychology, Social Work and Psychiatric Nursing. She has been training students of Psychology for conducting IQ assessments (assessment of intellectual functioning), Diagnostic Assessments, Personality Assessments, Assessment of Specific learning Disabilities such as Dyslexia & Dyscalculia and Neuropsychological Assessment (Assessment of cognitive functioning). She has conducted awareness programs for parents and family members of psychiatrically ill clients and conducted psycho-educational sessions for them. She has been actively contributing to the literature of clinical psychology by writing in edited books and journal articles. She has been serving in the field of mental health since the year 2011 and her passion for this field has motivated her to expand the services and take a step forward.
