Tap your cure potential not your fear potential.
Epidemics of infectious diseases are occurring more often, and spreading faster and further than ever, in many different regions of the world. Outbreaks are a fact of life, and the world remains vulnerable. We are continuously learning about the unpredictable powers of nature. Spanish flu, the deadliest outbreak in recorded history, killed upto 50 million people in 1918. Followed by SARS H1N1, MERS, Ebola, Nipah caused fear and panic across the world including corona (COVID-19).
COVID -19 viruses are spreading rapidly around the world. The fast and intense mobility of people, with increased transport and international travel, increase contacts between people, or between animals and people are the many new factors contribute to an increase in the transmissibility and severity of infection.
The most commonly reported symptoms of COVID 19 are fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath, and most patients (80%) experienced mild illness. Approximately14% experienced severe disease and 5% were critically ill.
Mortality rate of COVID-19 is less than 5% only, other 95 % is recovering from the infection.
Our immune system is responsible for the recovery. So we need to work on how to prevent the entry of this pathogen and how to improve our defense mechanism.
How to prevent COVID -19:
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth.
Practice respiratory hygiene: Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Stay at home if your are sick
Avoid public gathering and close contact with people who are sick.
Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Drink plenty of water and less alcohol.
Avoid to***co smoke.
Get enough sleep and manage stress.
Stay safe and healthy.
