Alopecia Areata (অ্যালোপেসিয়া অ্যারেটা) :

এটি একটি অটোইমিউন রোগ, যেখানে রোগ প্রতিরোধ ব্যবস্থা ভুলবশত চুলের গোড়া আক্রমণ করে, যার ফলে জায়গায় জায়গায় চুল ঝরে যায় ।
নখের পরিবর্তনও লক্ষ্য করা যায় অনেক সময় ।

** এটার সঙ্গে টাক পোকার কোনও সম্পর্ক নেই

*এটি পরিবারে দেখা যায়; যাদের পারিবারিক ইতিহাস রয়েছে বা থাইরয়েড রোগ বা একজিমার মতো অন্যান্য অসুস্থতা আছে, তাদের ঝুঁকি বেশি থাকে ।

ঠিকঠাক চিকিৎসার মাধ্যমেই এই রোগের উপসম সম্ভব।
** কিছু রোগীর এটা পুনরায় হতে পারে ।

হার্পিস জোস্টার

ভেরিসেলা-জোস্টার (Varicella-Zoster) ভাইরাসের কারণে সৃষ্ট একটি ত্বক ও স্নায়ুর রোগ ।
এটি মূলত জলবসন্ত বা চিকেনপক্স থেকে সেরে ওঠার পর শরীরে সুপ্ত অবস্থায় থাকা ভাইরাসটি পুনরায় সক্রিয় হওয়ার ফলে হয়ে থাকে ।

লক্ষণগুলোর মধ্যে শরীরের যেকোনো একপাশে তীব্র ব্যথা বা জ্বালাপোড়া, ফোসকাযুক্ত লাল র‍্যাশ বের হওয়া অন্যতম ।

**** এই রোগের চিকিৎসা 24-48 ঘন্টার মধ্যে শুরু করা উচিত।

Herpes Zoster (হার্পিস জোস্টার) সরাসরি অন্য কারও দেহে হার্পিস জোস্টার ছড়ায় না ।

তবে, এর ফোসকার তরল থেকে অন্য কারো চিকেনপক্স (জলবসন্ত) হতে পারে, যদি তিনি আগে কখনো চিকেনপক্সে আক্রান্ত না হন বা টিকা না নিয়ে থাকেন ।

রোগীর র‍্যাশ সম্পূর্ণ শুকিয়ে না যাওয়া পর্যন্ত এটি ছোঁয়াচে থাকে ।
