Today, we remember and honor the incredible life of my hero my beloved papa, an incredible human being, dedicated doctor who touched countless lives with his kindness, compassion, and expertise. 19 years may have passed, but his legacy lives on through the memories we cherish and the lives he touched.

Papa's selflessness, wisdom, and love continue to inspire me every day. Always trying my best to follow the guidance and the values instilled in me. Sending love and gratitude to the family , friend and who've been touched by his life and work

१७ फ़रवरी २०२५ को हर वर्ष की तरह चेरिया बरियारपुर प्रखंड, (बेगूसराय) के डॉ॰ बी॰ के॰ राय सामुदायिक भवन में लोगों ने अपने प्रिय डॉक्टर साहेब की याद में रामायण गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया। साथ ही चार मिडल स्कूल के सोलह मेधावी छात्र-छात्राओं को छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान किया गया। श्रद्धांजलि सभा में आए हुए लोगों के लिए भोजन का भी प्रबंध किया गया था।

इस सभा में सिरकत करने वाले सभी महानुभावों को कोटिशः धन्यवाद एवं प्रणाम 🙏🙏🙏

आज मेरे पिता, स्वर्गीय डॉक्टर विनय कुमार राय, की सतरहवीं पुण्य-तिथि है। समय का चक्र कितनी तेज़ी से आगे बढ़ता है यह दिवस हर वर्ष एक बार ज़रूर एहसास करा जाता है।

संतोष बस इस बात की होती है मेरे पापा आज भी लोगों की दिलों में जीवित हैं। और इस बात का भान मुझे विशेष कर तब हुआ जब २०२२ के उत्तरार्ध में एक बार फिर से मुझे चेरिया बरियारपुर जाने का मौक़ा मिला। उनके ज़िक्र मात्र से आज भी लोगों की आँखें भर आतीं हैं।

यह जानकर भी ख़ुशी हुई कि वहाँ के लोग डॉ. बी. के. राय मेमोरियल हॉल का सतत देख-रेख करते हैं, उसका उपयोग विविध सामाजिक कार्यों में लाते हैं और आज के दिन स्वतः रामायण गोष्ठी का आयोजन करते हैं। यह सब आज के मशीनी युग में कल्पनातीत है।

हम उनकी याद में विगत चार वर्षों से डॉ. बी. के. राय मेमोरियल छात्रवृति चला रहे हैं जिसमे हर वर्ष क्षेत्र के सोलह मेधावी छात्र व छात्राओं को चयनित कर उन्हें प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाती है। हमारी कोशिश रहेगी कि हम इसे ऐसे ही या और विस्तृत रूप में आगे भी जारी रख पाएँ।

पापा के न होने की कमी तो शायद जीवनपर्यन्त खलती रहेगी। उनका अकस्मात समय से पहले हमें छोड़ कर चले जाना, और हमारा कुछ न कर पाना - यह वेदना हमेशा कचोटती रहेगी। पर उनके सिखाये राह पर सतत चलने का प्रयास कर इसे कम करने की कोशिश ज़रूर करता रहूँगा।

🕊️ In Loving Memory 🕊️
Dear friends and followers of Dr. B.K Rai' page,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our dad's Mom our beloved grandmother's passing. She peacefully left us last week. She was a source of love, wisdom, and inspiration in our lives.

We believe that papa , who left us 16 years ago, is now reunited with his mother in a better place. Together, they continue to watch over us.
She was almost 90 years of age and able to take care of her daily routine by herself. On September 13 th afternoon she had trouble breathing by midnight she took her last breath. She got cremated at the same ghat in our ancestral village Ledo in Jharkhand next to my dad and grandfather.

As we remember and honor and pay tribute to them , we appreciate the support and prayers. Your continued support means a lot.
