Islam grants complete exemption from fasting during pregnancy if there is any concern for harm — prioritising the well-being of both mother and child.
If you are pregnant and planning to fast: ✔️ Consult your doctor first
✔️ Stay well hydrated during non-fasting hours
✔️ Monitor fetal movements
✔️ Break your fast immediately if you feel dizzy, weak, or unwell

Many people think fasting increases the risk of kidney stone attacks. However, research shows that fasting itself does not significantly increase kidney stone risk — as long as you hydrate properly after Iftar.

💧 Drink enough fluids between Iftar & Suhoor
🧂 Reduce excess salt intake
☕ Limit tea & coffee at night
🟡 Aim for light yellow urine
