4 जून, 2026 को, क्षेत्रीय यूनानी चिकित्सा अनुसंधान संस्थान (RRIUM), भद्रक (जिसे NABH और NABL से मान्यता प्राप्त है), ने TSP मोबाइल स्वास्थ्य शिविर कार्यक्रम के तहत क्योंझर जिले के आनंदपुर ब्लॉक के खडीपाल गाँव में एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इस कार्यक्रम में, डॉक्टरों ने मरीज़ों की जाँच की और उन्हें मुफ़्त में दवाएँ दीं। इस कार्यक्रम में, डॉ. मो. रहमतुल्लाह हबीबी (JRF यूनानी) ने उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए एक व्याख्यान दिया। उनका व्याख्यान मुख्य रूप से अच्छे स्वास्थ्य के लिए हमारे दैनिक जीवन में यूनानी चिकित्सा पद्धति के उपयोग के प्रति जागरूकता पर केंद्रित था—कि यह कैसे काम करती है और हमें इसका उपयोग क्यों करना चाहिए।

On 03/06/2026, under the TSP Programme, RRIUM, Bhadrak (CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India) organized a Health Camp and Awareness Programme at Baunsagarh village, Anandapur Block, Keonjhar district, Odisha.

During the programme, Dr. Murad Husain, Research Associate (Unani) screened and treated 57 patients, distributed free medicines, and delivered an awareness session on the “100 Day TB Mukt Bharat” campaign.

The programme emphasized the importance of community healthcare awareness, early diagnosis, preventive care, and strengthening healthcare access among tribal populations.

On 19/05/2026, under the TSP Programme, RRIUM, Bhadrak (CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India) organized a Health Camp and Awareness Programme at Kathakata village, Anandapur Block, Keonjhar District, Odisha.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Jawad ul Haq, Research Officer (Unani) & In-Charge, RRIUM Bhadrak, and under the guidance of Dr. Abdul Wahid, Research Officer (Unani) & TSP Nodal Officer.

On 18/05/2026, under the TSP Programme, RRIUM, Bhadrak (CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India) organized a Health Camp and Awareness Programme at Kantipal village, Anandapur Block, Keonjhar District, Odisha.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Jawad ul Haq, Research Officer (Unani) & In-Charge, RRIUM Bhadrak, and under the guidance of Dr. Abdul Wahid, Research Officer (Unani) & TSP Nodal Officer.

On 16.05.2026 (Saturday), a Pharmacovigilance Awareness Programme was organized for the patients at OPD RRIUM, Bhadrak by Dr. Md Shaharyar Ali Ansari (Junior Research Fellow – Pharmacovigilance, Unani), Under the Supervision of Dr. Jawwad-ul Haq (Incharge), under the guidance of Dr. M.A Waheed (Research Officer - Unani) Co-Ordinator PPvC, were following staff also present Dr. Md Akhter Hussain Jamali (Research Officer - Unani) IPD&OPD Incharge, Dr. Mohd Uzair Beg (Research Officer - Unani), Dr. Md Mudassir (Research Officer - Unani), Dr. Qureshi Mohd Ansar Mohd Arshad (Research Associate - Unani).

During the programme, Dr Md Shaharyar Ali Ansari explained the aims and objectives of Pharmacovigilance, stressing the importance of reporting any side effects or adverse drug reactions (ADRs) without delay. He highlighted the risks associated with self-medication, over-the-counter drugs, and unverified “verbal” medicines, and strongly advised patients to use medicines only under the consultation of a qualified physician.

The lecture also covered common symptoms of ADRs—including dizziness, vomiting, allergic reactions, abdominal pain, and other unusual complaints—and guided participants on how to report such events at the Pharmacovigilance Centre. IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials were distributed to reinforce the awareness message.

A total of 35 patients attended and benefited from the programme.

On 16 May 2026, a Health Camp was organised by the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (NABH Accredited & NABL Certified Institute) at Bonth Maltiria, District Bhadrak, Odisha. The camp was conducted by Dr M A Waheed (R.O Unani) and Dr Qureshi Mohd Ansar Mohd Arshad (R.A Unani) under the supervision of Dr Jawadul Haque (Research Officer-In-Charge) and the guidance of Dr M. A. Husain Jamali, Research Officer (Unani). Healthcare services and medical guidance were provided to the local community during the camp. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.

A Journal Club session was organized at the Conference Hall of the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Bhadrak (NABH Accredited & NABL Certified) on 15th May 2026.

The topic of the presentation was:

“A Comparative Clinical Study on the Effects of Mehjama Nariya (Fire Cupping) and Hijama Bila Shart (Dry Cupping) in Irq al Nasa.”

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Murad Husain, Research Associate (Unani) under the guidance of Dr. Jawad ul Haque, Research Officer & In-Charge, RRIUM Bhadrak.

During the session, detailed discussion was held regarding the clinical importance, methodology, therapeutic effects, and comparative efficacy of Hijama Nariya and Hijama Bila Shart in the management of Irq al Nasa. The presentation highlighted the relevance of Regimenal therapies in Unani Medicine and their role in patient care.

The session witnessed the presence of all Technical Officers in the Conference Hall of the Institute. An interactive discussion was conducted among the participants, making the session highly informative and academically enriching.
