Water Breaking Without Labour Pain?
If you’re 9 months pregnant and your water breaks (paani girna) but you’re not having labour pain, it can still mean that labour has started.
In some cases, water breaks before contractions, and labour may begin within the next 24 hours. But once your water breaks, you should reach the hospital immediately so your baby can be monitored and the risk of infection can be assessed.
If labour doesn’t start naturally, your doctor may recommend labour induction to help ensure a safe delivery.
