"No One Can Take Our Smiles😬 Away,
When Dental Decay is Kept Miles Away".

With an aim to establish and promote the importance of good dental care habits, a free dental checkup camp was held in G.D. Goenka Public School on Friday, September 27th, 2019. A team of dentists lead by Dr. Rohinka Gupta and Dr. Mohit Tayal from Tayal Hospital, Bhiwadi came for the dental checkup of the students of Classes Nursery to IXth and the students benefitted from this camp.

The doctors brought a well-equipped dental examination tools to examine the students well. They spoke to the students about the importance of dental care and explained in detail about the root cause of the dental problems. The students were further briefed about proper brushing techniques, the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay.

The students also had a question and answer session with the doctors to resolve their queries based on dental hygiene. The camp turned out to be very beneficial for our students.

Principal Mrs. Dhiraj Bhargava said, this camp will bring a change in behavior of the students and they would now start taking preventive measures to avoid dental problems. She thanked the dentists for rendering their selfless service to the school.

Guest Lecture on “Dental Care” was organized by the expert dentists of Tayal Hospital on 28th September 2019. The Guest Speaker of the day was Dr. Rohinka Gupta who has more than 7 years’ experience in managing dental patients (pediatric, adult, geriatric).

It was a very interactive and highly informative session which made everyone think beyond the usual. She educated the children on “The Teeth” and discussed the basics of oral hygiene such as proper brushing technique, cavity, mouthwash, tongue cleaning, flossing, dietary habits and how to establish routine dental care procedures. She advised students to brush their teeth twice a day.
