Can your daily juice actually make your skin healthier? 🥤👀

Not every “healthy” juice is equally good for your skin. Some can be a great addition to a balanced diet, while others may contain more sugar than you realise.

In this reel, I’m rating different juices based on their nutritional value and how they may support overall skin health. 🍊🥕🍅

Remember: no juice can replace a balanced diet or fix acne, pigmentation, or other skin concerns overnight. Think of it as one small part of your overall nutrition—not a miracle skincare treatment.

Which juice should I rate next? 👇/

Confused about skincare ingredients? Here’s your ultimate cheat sheet to help you choose the right products for your skin concerns.

Golden Rule:
No matter your skin type, wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning.

💡 Remember:
Choose products based on your skin concern, introduce active ingredients gradually, and stay consistent. Great skin doesn’t happen overnight it happens with the right routine.

Not every tiny dark spot on your nose is actually a blackhead. 👀

Blackheads, sebaceous filaments, and clogged pores can look similar but they’re not the same, so treating them the same way may not give you the results you want.

The key is to first identify what you’re dealing with and then choose the right treatment instead of over-scrubbing, squeezing, or trying random DIY hacks.

💬 Comment “BLACK” and get the guide on how to remove different types of blackheads and clogged pores.

Your skin barrier does more than just protect your skin it helps keep moisture in and irritants out. 🧴✨

When your barrier is compromised, you may notice dryness, tightness, redness, sensitivity, or frequent breakouts.

And sometimes, it’s not one big mistake it’s the small everyday habits that slowly weaken your barrier.

The good news? A healthy skin barrier can recover with gentle skincare, adequate hydration, and consistency.

Most people think ingrown hairs just “happen” — but a lot of them are caused by the way you shave.
When you press too hard or stretch the skin aggressively, the hair gets cut below the skin’s surface.

Then, as the skin relaxes, the hair can grow sideways or curl back inward… triggering painful ingrown hairs, bumps, and irritation especially in curly hair.

The secret to healthier skin isn’t shaving closer. It’s shaving smarter.
✔ Light pressure
✔ Don’t overstretch the skin
✔ Shave with the grain whenever possible

Sometimes the “perfectly smooth” shave is exactly what damages your skin the most.

Not every skincare or beauty product should be shared. 🧴❌

While sharing products with friends or family may seem harmless, some personal care items can transfer bacteria, fungi, viruses, and even parasites, increasing the risk of skin infections and breakouts.

Here's the general rule:

❌ Never share: Lipsticks, combs, razors, underarm roll-ons, and makeup brushes.

⚠️ Share only with precautions: Trimmers should be properly disinfected before use.

✅ Generally safe to share: Products like moisturizers and sunscreen only if they're in a pump or tube and the product doesn't come into direct contact with the skin.

Healthy skin isn't just about using the right products it's also about using them hygienically.

💬 Which product surprised you the most? Let me know in the comments!

Pregnant? Your skincare routine may need a few important changes. 🤰✨

Not every skincare ingredient is considered safe during pregnancy, which is why it's important to know what to use and what to avoid.

Generally considered safe during pregnancy (when appropriate):
✔️ Vitamin C
✔️ Niacinamide
✔️ Azelaic Acid
✔️ Hyaluronic Acid
✔️ Ceramides
✔️ Mineral sunscreens (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide)

Ingredients that are generally avoided during pregnancy:
❌ Retinoids (retinol, tretinoin, adapalene, tazarotene)
❌ High-dose salicylic acid peels
❌ Hydroquinone
❌ Certain cosmetic procedures and treatments unless specifically advised by your doctor

Remember, every pregnancy is different. Before starting any new skincare product or treatment, discuss it with your dermatologist and obstetrician.

✨ The goal isn't to stop skincare it's to choose products that are effective and appropriate for you during pregnancy.

💬 Comment "PREGNANCY" and I'll send you my dermatologist-approved pregnancy skincare guide.
