This 12 yr old boy was admitted with severe hydrocarbon pneumonia, on admission he could barely breath and his oxygen saturation was below 80%, he was kept on non invasive ventilatory support for 8 days, followed by oxygen for 4 days and then discharged on 16th day, look at the smile on his face at the day of discharge. He was treated with zero cost to parents under Ayushman Bharat scheme at Kilkari, LBS hospital Bhopal. Credit goes to whole team.

This eight year old kid got admitted in comatose condition with history of multiple discharging sinuses over skull and loss of vision in right eye since last two years. Was kept on ventilatory support due to low GCS. As you can see there is some yellow discharge coming out of sinus tracts so we suspected Actinomycosis. C.T. head was done which showed osteomyelitis of cranial bones along with brain abscess. Child was operated and tissue specimens were sent for histopathology which confirmed the diagnosis of Actinomycosis. Penicillin G was started, after which child showed dramatic improvement and discharged after two weeks. Now he comes walking for follow up.
