A HEARTFELT CONDOLENCE FROM THE KGI FAMILY
The Koustuvian community comes together to offer their heartfelt condolences for the loss of two legendary personalities, SJ. GHANASHYAM JENA and SMT. HEMELATA JENA. All the faculty members, staff, students, GM Administration, and principals from the College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB), Koustuv Research Institute of Medical Science (KRIMS), Koustuv Business School (KBS), Naxatra Institute of Media Studies (NIMS), Koustuv Institute of Professional Studies (KIPS), and Koustuv Institute of Science (KIS) attended the condolence meeting with a deep sense of pain and a wish: May the departed souls find eternal peace in the embrace of the Lord Almighty.
It is worthwile to mention hear that Sri Ghanashyam Jena is a remarkable and influential figure in the field of trade unionism and workers' rights in India. His contributions as a leader, visionary, and pioneer in the realm of trade union movements have left an indelible mark on the human resources industry and the national labor scene.
In addition to his notable role in trade unions, Sri Jena, with rock-solid support from his better half, Hemelata Jena, has made significant contributions to society through initiatives such as the "FCI Workers Co-operative Society," the "Ghanashyam Hemalata Vidya Mandir Society," and the "Ghanashyam Hemalata Institute of Technology & Management," among others. These initiatives have focused on educational programmes aimed at nurturing and developing talents among the workforce, thereby empowering individuals to improve their lives and communities.
