Q: My friend’s reports were normal, but her first IUI failed. Should she go directly for IVF?

A: There is usually no need to rush into IVF! Since IUI has a success rate of about 15-20% per cycle, it often takes a couple of attempts. For young couples with normal reports, we advise trying IUI 2-3 times at a good fertility center with trained specialists. If pregnancy isn't achieved after 3-4 IUI cycles, then it is time to discuss IVF.
Patience and the right medical guidance are your best friends on this journey!
