Toe walking can be a normal part of early walking, and many young children outgrow it on their own. 👣
However, if it persists beyond 2–3 years of age, becomes frequent, or is accompanied by other developmental concerns, it should be evaluated. If left unaddressed, persistent toe walking may affect balance, walking pattern, ankle flexibility, and overall motor development.
These activities are commonly used in therapy to support a more efficient walking pattern and improve strength, balance, ankle mobility, and body awareness—always tailored to the child’s individual needs.
