A team where people can’t say what’s true has a different problem than the one on the surface.
People go quiet. Problems get politely buried. By the time it all comes out, it’s usually much bigger.
Healthy rooms don’t mean everyone agrees. They mean it’s safe to say what you see, kindly and clearly, and to hear it without getting defensive.
