She nurtures everyone.
She listens to every pain.
She fixes every problem.

But the one part of her body that silently holds everything together… she ignores.
Her pelvic space.
Her vaginal health.
Her core of strength, birth, pleasure, stability, and control.

She notices back pain… but not the weak pelvic floor.
She worries about weight… but not bladder leaks.
She pushes through postpartum… but never truly heals.

She feels discomfort… but calls it “normal.”
This is the most overworked, under-cared-for part of a woman's body.
It holds her organs.
Supports her spine.
Carries her through pregnancy.
Recovers after childbirth.
Impacts intimacy, confidence, posture, and even breathing.

Yet… it’s the last thing she prioritizes.
Because no one taught her to.
Because talking about it feels uncomfortable.
Because she was told to “just manage.”

But ignoring your pelvic health doesn't make the symptoms disappear —
It only makes your body whisper louder over time.
Your strength starts here.
Your stability starts here.
Your confidence starts here.

It’s time women stopped treating pelvic health like a secret…
and started treating it like self-respect.

Have you ever consciously cared for your pelvic
health?
Yes / Not really / Didn’t know I should

“But isn’t desire selfish?”

I hear this more than you’d think.

Usually whispered.
Usually by women.
Usually after they’ve spent years putting everyone else first.

Somewhere along the way, women were taught:

Wanting more is greedy.
Wanting pleasure is indulgent.
Wanting deeply is dangerous.

So they shrink their desires down to something socially acceptable.

“I don’t need much.”
“I’m low maintenance.”
“It’s fine.”

But here’s the truth:

Desire isn’t selfish.
It’s self-honesty.

It’s your body saying,
“This feels good.”
“This doesn’t.”
“I want more of this.”
“I need something different.”

When you silence desire, you don’t become virtuous.
You become disconnected.

Disconnected women don’t create harmony.
They create resentment.
They create quiet withdrawal.
They create intimacy that feels polite instead of alive.

Desire is not indulgence.
It’s information.

And a woman who knows what she wants —
emotionally, sexually, relationally —
doesn’t need to beg for love.

She chooses it.
She attracts it.
She embodies it.

Because when you stop apologising for your desire,
you stop negotiating your worth.

So no.
Desire isn’t selfish.

Suppressing it is what costs you the most.

💬 What’s one desire you’ve been taught to downplay?

If this made you pause, share it.
More women need permission to want.
