🌿 USPR Marks National Nutrition Month & World Physiotherapy Day 2026 🌿

Faculty members of the University School of Physiotherapy & Radiology (USPR), Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, conducted a meaningful Nutrition & Rehabilitation Outreach Programme at the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Mohali, on 10 September 2026.

The programme brought together around 50–55 Bravo Army soldiers, residents, and family members for an educational session on “Diet and Nutrition for Paraplegia and Quadriplegia Recovery.” Ms. Kamalpreet Kaur Chahal, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, USPR, shared practical guidance on balanced meals, healthy food choices, cooking practices, and nutrition strategies to support recovery and overall well-being.

💪 Ms. Ipsh*ta Adhikary and Ms. Varsha Mishra, Assistant Professors, USPR, addressed physiotherapy and rehabilitation concerns, emphasizing the importance of combining nutrition, physiotherapy, family support, and healthy lifestyle practices for functional independence and improved quality of life.
The initiative was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, and Prof. (Dr.) Lalit Kumar Gupta, Dean, USPR.

The programme was held in the presence of Col. Jaskirat Singh Nagra, Director, PRC Mohali.
