Skin longevity is the shift from simply treating signs of ageing to preserving skin health, structure and function for as long as possible.

Think:

* ☀️ Photoprotection — sunscreen + visible-light protection
* 🧴 Barrier health — gentle cleansing, moisturising, avoiding over-exfoliation
* 🧬 Collagen preservation — retinoids, antioxidants and evidence-based procedures
* 💧 Hydration & elasticity — maintaining a healthy dermal environment
* 🔬 Early intervention — addressing pigmentation, laxity and volume changes before they become pronounced
* 🥗 Lifestyle longevity — sleep, nutrition, exercise and avoiding smoking

The goal isn’t to look younger. It’s to keep your skin functioning, resilient and healthy for longer.

Intimate hygiene, without the hype. 🌸

The va**na is self-cleaning—you don’t need perfumes, harsh cleansers or douching.
Keep the external v***a clean with gentle washing, avoid irritants, change out of damp clothes, and choose breathable underwear.

Simple care > excessive care.
If there’s persistent itching, burning, unusual discharge or odour, see a doctor rather than masking it with intimate washes.

Does CeraVe cause cancer? 🚨

No. There is no credible evidence that CeraVe skincare products cause cancer.

The confusion comes from online claims about benzene contamination. Benzene is carcinogenic, but that doesn’t mean every product containing a particular cosmetic ingredient—or CeraVe products—contains benzene.

Don’t confuse a chemical name with a proven cancer risk. Context, concentration and actual exposure matter.

Not an ice cream person. But exceptions exist. 🍦

Michelin man looks like my twin brother..
Phew!!😥

My (food )choices when I’m famished are always questionable ‼️

I’d trade the luxury of being connected for the privilege of being undisturbed. 🤍

Cafés are such integral part of my trips
The pause, the people, the local rhythm. ☕️

I reordered it over n over …Taiwan pan fried buns

My holidays are meant for slow mornings, unplanned walks, long conversations, and the luxury of doing nothing at all.

Vitamin B12 deficiency isn’t just about fatigue—it can show up on your skin too. 🩺✨

As a dermatologist, these are some clues I look for:
• Diffuse skin darkening (especially over the knuckles)
• Hyperpigmentation of the palms and soles
• Recurrent mouth ulcers
• A smooth, sore, beefy-red tongue (glossitis)
• Premature greying in some individuals
• Brittle nails and hair shedding may coexist

If you’re experiencing these skin changes along with tiredness, tingling in your hands or feet, or brain fog, don’t ignore them. Your skin can often be the first sign of an underlying nutritional deficiency.

Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can reverse many of these changes.

If you’re using air conditioning for long hours, a humidifier can be a great addition to your skincare routine—but it’s not a substitute for a good moisturizer.

Benefits for your skin

* Reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by increasing moisture in dry indoor air.
* Helps relieve tightness, flaking, and itching, especially if you have eczema or a compromised skin barrier.
* Can improve comfort if you wake up with dry skin, lips, or a dry nose.
We often recommend using a humidifier in the bedroom when indoor air is very dry.

Ideal humidity

* Aim for 40–50% relative humidity (30–50% is also considered acceptable).
* Avoid going above 60%, as excess humidity can encourage mold and dust mites.
