🚭 As we approach World No To***co Day – May 31, we are increasingly witnessing how school and college students under 18 and young adults are being exposed to newer ni****ne products such as ni****ne pouches, vapes, and flavoured to***co products.
Many of these products are marketed as “safe,” “modern,” or “discreet,” making them highly appealing to adolescents and youth. Social media influence, peer pressure, attractive flavours, and easy accessibility are contributing to rising experimentation and ni****ne dependence among students.
Ni****ne exposure during adolescence and young adulthood can negatively impact:
✔ Brain development
✔ Attention, concentration, and academic performance
✔ Emotional and behavioural health
✔ Long-term addiction pathways
✔ Cardiovascular health
It is important for the public, schools, colleges, educational institutions, parents, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to actively spread awareness regarding the harms of these emerging ni****ne products and take preventive action early.
Protecting young people from ni****ne addiction is a shared public health responsibility. Let us stand together this World No To***co Day to build a healthier and to***co-free generation. 🚭
