High PSA doesn’t always mean prostate cancer! 🩺

PSA is a blood test used to assess prostate health and screen for prostate cancer. However, PSA alone cannot diagnose cancer.

PSA levels can also be elevated due to:
👉 Urinary tract infections (UTI)
👉 Prostatitis (prostate inflammation/infection)
👉 Recent prostate biopsy
👉 Urinary retention
