Greetings from Indian Dental Sedation Academy

The Indian Dental Sedation Academy successfully completed its 44th batch of Nitrous Oxide Oxygen Inhalational Sedation (NOIS) and 8th batch of Nitrous Oxide Intravenous Sedation (NOIVS) through a comprehensive three-day workshop.

The program had 11 candidates in NOIS and 8 candidates in NOIVS, focusing on structured hands-on, protocol-based sedation training.

Dr. EMG Subramanian, Professor, Saveetha Dental College, served as the Guest of Honor and distributed certificates for the NOIS participants.

Blaze Training Center conducted the BLS and Advanced CPR workshop.

On Day 3, an early-morning GA OT discussion with Dr. Elavazghan (5:30–9:30 AM) was followed by lectures on IV access, multimodal monitoring, and case selection for nasal, oral, and intravenous sedation.

Grateful to be part of ISSS – IASSACON 2026 at JW Marriott, Mumbai (20–22 February 2026).
Attended the conference as an Invited International Faculty — and equally as a panellist, speaker, moderator… and always a learner.

It was wonderful meeting and interacting with Dr. Meenakshi Kher, Dr. Santosh Kumari — conversations like these make conferences truly meaningful.
My sincere thanks to Dr. Vijay Krishnan and IASSA for the opportunity and for organizing such a high-quality academic platform.
Sharing a few candid moments as well — because beyond the lectures, it’s the connections that matter.

IDSA is extremely honoured and humbled to host its 1st CDA program on the topic beyond NOIS, giving insights on oral, nasal and IV sedation to practice for Pediatric dentist and Post Graduate in Pediatric dentistry.

A live case demonstration was done by co faculty Dr. Manikandan from IDSA.

This session was held in Pushpagiri Dental College, Thiruvalla, Kerala and was organised by the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive dentistry held by Dr. Elizabeth.
