Despite being a Green Card holder, he has been providing his services to many charitable hospitals across Chennai. He is the founding member of Tambaram Medical fo

undation – a self funded charitable organization serving the economically weak section of the society who are unable to afford healthcare for chronic Illness such as cancer. He is young and dynamic and dedicates most of his time towards providing affordable treatments to patients. Grateful and very excited to share that our research was presented at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) 2026 in Las Vegas.

What started as questions in day-to-day clinical practice has now grown into work presented on an international stage and that feels truly special.

We presented four studies:
🔹 SMART CRF
🔹 Residual Maladaptation Score (RMS)
🔹 The Glycemic Wheel
🔹 Insulin IQ

Each focuses on improving diabetes care from early risk detection to better patient understanding and smarter clinical systems.

Because the future of diabetes care is not just treatment, but prevention and awareness.

While India has made remarkable strides in pediatric immunization, adult vaccination continues to remain a largely neglected domain. This leaves a significant proportion of our population vulnerable to preventable infections such as influenza, pneumococcal disease, hepatitis, HPV-related illnesses, and more.

With increasing life expectancy, a rising burden of non-communicable diseases like diabetes, and a growing immunocompromised population, the need for structured adult immunization strategies is more critical than ever.

Adult vaccination is not just about prevention — it is about:

• Reducing hospitalizations and healthcare burden

• Preventing complications in high-risk groups

• Enhancing quality of life and healthy aging

• Strengthening overall public health resilience

As clinicians, it is time we shift from a reactive approach to a preventive healthcare mindset, making adult vaccination an integral part of routine care.

Honored to deliver a talk at GLTS 2026 on “Futuristic Treatment of Metabolic Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH)”.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Joy Varghese for the opportunity. It was truly a delight to be part of such an engaging and forward-thinking academic platform.

A key highlight of the discussion was the evolving role of Semaglutide in MASH — a promising GLP-1 receptor agonist demonstrating:
• Significant reduction in hepatic steatosis
• Improvement in NASH resolution without worsening fibrosis
• Meaningful weight loss and metabolic risk reduction
• Potential disease-modifying impact beyond glycemic control

As we move forward, the integration of incretin-based therapies, precision medicine, and digital health will redefine how we approach MASH — shifting from symptom control to true disease reversal.

Exciting times ahead in hepatometabolic care.

Honored to be part of the 20th National DIPSI Conference held in Chennai. It was an excellent academic platform with in-depth deliberations on preventing Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), early detection strategies, and improving fetal outcomes.

It was truly inspiring to interact with several legends and doyens in the field of diabetes and exchange ideas on advancing maternal and metabolic health. I am also delighted to share that I was awarded in the Oral Presentation Session at DIPSI, which makes this experience even more special.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Shanmugam, Dr. Vijaykumar, Dr. Bhavatharini, and the entire organizing team for conducting such a meaningful and impactful conference.

World Diabetes Day 2025 Celebrations at Gleneagles Hospital

Yesterday, we celebrated World Diabetes Day with great enthusiasm and purpose. Our poster presentations, healthy cooking competition, and quiz contests brought wonderful participation and energy from both patients and staff.

One of the most meaningful moments of the event was listening to the patient testimonials, powerful narratives of their journeys with diabetes, their challenges, and their resilience. These stories reaffirm the importance of awareness, prevention, and proper management.

It was also a pleasure interacting with NEET aspirants, discussing the need for early prevention strategies at the school level and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle from a young age. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to my fabulous team for your hard work and commitment in making the celebration a grand success. Your dedication makes all the difference.

Together, we continue our mission to spread awareness and empower our community towards better diabetes prevention and care.
