A Full-Mouth-Rehabilitation done meticulously and painstakingly, by our Consultant Prosthodontist Maheshwaran Ks ! This was done over a course of 2 months, through multiple extensive sittings to make sure everything was just perfect for the patient, (and anatomically, functionally!) Disclaimer- consent obtained from patient to share intraoral pictures. Guess how many root canals this needed! (28 teeth)

A lot of times patients feel like their gaps are still not closed after orthodontic treatment. This could sometimes be EMBRASURES- the anatomical spillways to help with normal oral functions and help your teeth stay clean, with the action of saliva.

Embrasure size can further vary based on shape of teeth (ex. Barrel shaped teeth) and DON'T mean that you still have spaces!

- RELAPSE- or loss of corrections achieved are mostly due to lack of compliance in retainer wear by the patient.
What you can ask of your orthodontist?
*Retainer schedule
*Regular follow-ups
*Transparent retainers if that suits your correction type
*An extra pair of retainers just in case!
