PFM bridge from 11 to 23. Patient reported with fractured and infected 21 and 22 with a large periapical infection. Extraction of 21 and 22 done and complete removal of infected granulation tissue was done.
Extensive grafting was required for implant placement. The patient did not agree and hence the next choice was a bridge.
A beautifully crafted pfm can do the job really well and help restore esthetics and function

A situation where the patient was unsatisfied with previous partial dentures due to a severe Lichen planus condition of the mucosa and a dry mouth condition.

Lower anterior tooth were periodontally compromised. So we went ahead with all on 4 implants with hybrid prosthesis after extraction. On the right upper posterior quadrant we managed to restore the canine and place two implants later. This ensured fixed prosthesis all over.

Patient has been given glycerine based mouth rinses to counter the dry mouth situation. Lichen planus constantly needs application of Triamcinalone acetonide 0.1 % ointments. A thorough patient education on hygiene maintenance around implants has helped the patient a lot.

Full mouth rehabilitation with over dentures, cast partial dentures with precision attachments

(Patient was very keen on retaining original dentition and did not want dental implants)

Richmond copings with precision attachments over maxillary remaining teeth after root canal treatment were planned. Upper denture retains well over these attachments and can be made palate free.

Mandibular anteriors were replaced by a pfm bridge carrying bilateral precision attachment extending from distal most abutment. Posteriors replaced by a cast partial denture.

Full mouth rehabilitation transforming a collapsed occlusal situation to an ideal occlusion. Due to severe wear and loss of some posterior teeth patients anterior teeth had settled in an reverse bite situation.
Restored with Anterior pfm crowns and posterior facing ceramic bridge units.
