The Department of Occupational Therapy, SRIHER successfully organised a 3-Day Free Oncology Occupational Therapy Screening Camp, extending rehabilitation services beyond the clinical setting through early screening, awareness and functional assessment for individuals affected by cancer. Guided by the leadership of Prof. Raghuram and the support of dedicated faculty, postgraduate students, interns and volunteers, the initiative highlighted the important role of Occupational Therapy in promoting independence, improving quality of life and supporting holistic oncology care. The camp strengthened community awareness, encouraged timely rehabilitation and reaffirmed SRIHER's commitment to compassionate, patient-centred healthcare.

SRIHER proudly congratulates the winners and participants of the 4th Spike Attack Volleyball Tournament 2026, with the prize distribution ceremony held on 1 August 2026 by Dr. Leena Dennis Joseph, Dean – Students, and Dr. C. Pushparani, Director of Physical Education. Congratulations to Ms. Chitra Patel, Best Player (Women), and Mr. R. Rens, Best Player (Men), for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Occupational Therapy, SRIHER successfully organised the SRFOT Cricket Premier League 2026, bringing together over 300 students, faculty members, interns and alumni in a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork and community spirit. Guided by 15 internal and external faculty members, the tournament strengthened collaboration, leadership and meaningful connections across the SRIHER community while promoting holistic student development. Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, SRIHER congratulates the authors on the publication of "Effectiveness of an Eclectic Voice Therapy Approach and Vocal Function Exercise (VFE)—Normative Range Cutoff Value Comparisons" in the Journal of Voice. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of an eclectic voice therapy approach in improving outcomes for individuals with hyperfunctional voice disorders, contributing valuable evidence for evidence-based clinical practice. By strengthening therapeutic decision-making and voice rehabilitation strategies, this research has the potential to enhance patient care and advance professional practice in speech-language pathology and voice therapy.
