The Department of Occupational Therapy, SRIHER successfully organised a 3-Day Free Oncology Occupational Therapy Screening Camp, extending rehabilitation services beyond the clinical setting through early screening, awareness and functional assessment for individuals affected by cancer. Guided by the leadership of Prof. Raghuram and the support of dedicated faculty, postgraduate students, interns and volunteers, the initiative highlighted the important role of Occupational Therapy in promoting independence, improving quality of life and supporting holistic oncology care. The camp strengthened community awareness, encouraged timely rehabilitation and reaffirmed SRIHER's commitment to compassionate, patient-centred healthcare.

Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, SRIHER congratulates the authors on the publication of "Effectiveness of an Eclectic Voice Therapy Approach and Vocal Function Exercise (VFE)—Normative Range Cutoff Value Comparisons" in the Journal of Voice. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of an eclectic voice therapy approach in improving outcomes for individuals with hyperfunctional voice disorders, contributing valuable evidence for evidence-based clinical practice.
