Some battles begin in childhood. Some victories last a lifetime.
At just 7 years old, Fathima began a journey no child should have to face. Through the unwavering support of her family, the dedication of her care team at Cancer Institute (WIA), and her own remarkable resilience, she overcame cancer.
Today, 13 years cancer-free, she is pursuing her dream of joining the Indian Foreign Service—a testament to the fact that cancer does not define a person’s future.
This Sarcoma Awareness Month, we honour survivors like Fathima, whose journeys remind us that timely treatment, compassionate care, and hope can transform lives.
For over 72 years, Cancer Institute (WIA) has stood beside patients and families, delivering not just treatment, but hope, healing, and the opportunity to dream beyond cancer.
