Postpartum tummy gap? One of the simplest places to start is diaphragmatic breathing.

How to start:

1. INHALE — Relax & Expand
Breathe in slowly through your nose. Allow your ribs to expand sideways and backwards, your belly to gently rise, and your pelvic floor to relax.

2. EXHALE — Engage & Connect
Breathe out slowly through your mouth. As you exhale, gently engage your deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. Think of a gentle lift—not a forceful squeeze.

For beginners:
Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet supported, or sit comfortably with good posture. Place one hand on your chest and one on your lower ribs.

Key focus:
Keep your shoulders relaxed. Don't hold your breath or forcefully pull your tummy in.

Start with 5–10 slow breaths and gradually build up.

Save this for your postpartum recovery and share it with a new mom.
