This year’s theme is
"Measure Your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control It, Live Longer!"

10% of Children have high Blood Pressure levels because of
Unhealthy diet especially high salt intake
Less physical activities
More screen time
Poor sleep

Average Indian consumes 10-12 grams of Salt daily against the recommended of 6 grams ( one teaspoon roughly).
We recommend late dietary inclusion of salt only after 12 months of age and no added salt as much as possible throughout the life.

Deep oil fried food and bakery products like biscuits intake should be limited for occasional consumption.

All children upto 18 years of age should have 3 hours of physical activities daily. Resistance training ( muscle strengthening) exercises thrice in a week should be initiated for all children older than five years of age.
