Feeling deeply grateful and a little emotional to receive the Global Healthcare & Wellness “ Lifetime Achievement Award 2026 “ from none other but Padmashri Dr Vijayalakshmi Deshmane, nicknamed ‘Kittur Rani Chennamma’ for her fierce determination .She made history as the first woman professor at Kidwai, later serving as dean, head of department, and director. Her dedication to oncology transformed the field, reducing fear around cancer. As president of Avala Ashram in Bengaluru, she empowered orphaned girls with life skills.

This Mother’s Day,
stop feeling guilty.
For the days you didn’t finish your to-do list.
For the moments you felt tired and didn’t say it out loud.
For that quiet minute in the bathroom, holding a piece of chocolate you didn’t want to share.
For the times you weren’t fully present at work, because your heart was at home…
and the times you were at home, but work wouldn’t let go.
For the days your body felt unfamiliar, when menopause showed up unannounced.
For every moment you needed a pause that was just yours.

You are allowed to fall short. You are allowed to have nothing left. You are allowed to need rest.

Stay Joyful . This is your journey .

My people- Notice how life is like a train—you meet so many people along the way, some stay for a few stops, others ride with you longer, but not everyone is meant to reach your final destination. And sometimes, you exhaust yourself trying to convince the wrong passengers to stay, not realizing the journey was never about holding onto everyone—it was about learning when to let go, when to sit with yourself, and when to trust that the right ones will choose to remain without you asking them to.
