Story of Open distal femur fracture in 22 years old.

This 22 years old boy from with a distal femur fracture with exposed bone was treated with two stage surgery

Stage 1 -Debridement and CCS fixation for Intercondylar fracture with external fixator application (CCS screws were applied leaving space for future nail and was directed medial to lateral leaving space for plate)

Stage 2 -Removal of fixator and application of Multilock distal femur nail

After 5 months ,the boy was back to normal life.

Total hip replacement-‘operation of the century’…..
62 years old female patient with end stage hip arthritis with inability to walk for 500 meters ,recovered well after hip replacement.She is an health worker and joined duty after 1.5 month of surgery.Now ,she can walk for 3-4 km without discomfort.

Here is her 2 years follow up.
