Visiting the Shyok War Memorial built in the honour of our Siachen Warriors has been one of the most overwhelming experiences of our trip to Ladakh. Breathtakingly beautiful and heart chillingly intense, this place has a vibe that touches deeply and a story that is a part of every Indian life! There are no words to express the gratitude and respect we felt for those who live in these beyond challenging conditions just so we can sleep in peace. This post is a meagre attempt only to express immense gratitude to the ones who were, who are, and who continue to serve the country with their hearts and lives on their sleeves! 🫡 🇮🇳 ❤️
