Sharing pictures of 2 of my patients who underwent facial scar revision surgery.
First patient: patient had an accidental injury and a plank of wood got lodged in the alar region of the nose. We did Z- plasty incision to correct the defect.
Second patient: The patient had a hypertrophic burn scar on his upper lip and we excised the scar tissue to remove the scar and later Kenacort injection was injected to get best results.

The patient reported with an unaesthetic smile because of a forwardly placed upper jaw. We decided to treat the patient using orthognathic surgery (anterior segmental maxillary osteotomy). The following pictures are the results pre-operatively and post-operatively.
