Dear people,
What you're looking at is a chair. A chair where people sit in discomfort of not knowing why they're in it, in silence of the unknown, and with invisible heaviness that is unable to find its way out. It bears witness to the unspoken struggles and burdens carried for generations. People sit in this chair with the fear of showing their parts that they don't want to see themselves because the world told them to hide it away.
A chair they could never find in their homes that could lead them to their inner world.
But this is a chair of unconditional regard, radical acceptance of who you are and from where you've come, & free from judgements and opinions that floats above unwanted advice or the attempt to be saved or fixed. A chair of emotional tenderness where you're seen and heard the way every human being deserves - in a raw form of being - welcoming emotions & experiences that were dismissed, ignored, or humiliated.
A chair where humans slowly melt into comfort and authenticity when the person sitting across them assures them to open up safely and unashamed.
A - chair - where - vulnerability - meets - compassion
But what you see is just a chair, isn't it?
