One of the biggest consequences of s*xless marriages is infidelity. Spouses are not emotionally, mentally, or s*xually connected to each other and hence are not satisfying each other. Of course dissatisfaction is only one of the reasons for infidelity, but it is an important one.
It is important for partners, especially married partners, to intentionally put in the effort to understand each other, and connect beyond the daily chores are routines that bind a marriage. A marriage, a family is nourished not by culture, language, finances, but by the relationship of the married couple. Without a healthy, satisfying relationship, the marriage is at the best hollow, and at worst, toxic.
